This is the current version of the leading patchwork design software Electric Quilt. Design your own blocks and quilts or choose from lots of ready-made designs from the libraries. You can create and print patterns for foundation piecing, templates, quilt motifs, appliqué shapes and cutting diagrams. Exchange projects with other EQ users and rejoice over the many options to create your dream quilt.
EQ8 was redesigned and comes with a new look and large interface elements for fast and intuitive learning. There are over 40 new and updated features and thousands of new block designs and fabrics.

The software is only available in English.
The shipped EQ8 retail box contains a software download license. There is no CD, DVD or USB. There is a License ID and Password found in the package. This information will allow you to download the software from the EQ website. You will select either PC or Mac at the time of the download. The package also contains a 48-page booklet with complete instructions on how to claim the download on our site, installation, activation, a starter lesson, quick tips and tools reference.

Minimum System Requirements:
- Windows 10, Windows 8.1, or Windows 7 with Service Pack 1;
- macOS High Sierra (10.13), Sierra (10.12), El Capitan (10.11), Yosemite (10.10);
If you want to run EQ8 on BOTH platforms, you must purchase the Migration Kit to get the installation files for the second platform. This option is coming in 2018.
Internet Access Required
Internet access required for downloading, activating, periodic validation and accessing the support materials. You can be disconnected from the internet for general use of the software.
Activation
Unlimited installations. Two (2) computers may be simultaneously active. Activations can be easily transferred between computers.
Space Requirements
850 MB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation.

Screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 or greater. (A Minimum of 1024 x 768 is required.)
